"I got a b**ch that call me daddy, cause she do not know her father"
A true mark of a great artist is one that can take their own personal experience and make incredible music. Baring their soul and making the listener grow true fan attachment to their work. Even more impressive is an artist that can take an experience outside of their own but still deliver the message with incredible realism. All of that is what Kshr. gives you on his new song "Forty Eight".
Kshr. has become a regular on the Global Media Blog and never rests for a second especially since his latest dope release "Psalm 91". Kshr. is back in action with a modern day version of the classic Nas record "Black Girl Lost" titled "Forty Eight". Kshr. pen shines as his story telling is truly poetic and visionary as he tells the story of a woman lost in the world and doomed for disaster..
Kshr.'s "Forty Eight" is some of his best work today. Kshr. is always superb at telling his own personal experience but, he shows the many levels of his consciousness with brilliantly telling a story outside of himself, that comes together to form a masterpiece. The lyrics are beyond incredible, the flow is hard, and the delivery is filled with conviction that drives the point home in a amazing way.
